WE gin pic 6tc.jpgBack by popular demand, drinks expert Victoria Moore will be joining Anna in the kitchen to host a masterclass on gin, Victoria’s favourite spirit.  There is little she doesn’t know about this complex drink, so book this one fast as tickets will certainly fly!

After a welcome drink (Victoria’s delicious gin & elderflower cocktail), we will taste and compare at least five fabulous gins.  These will include London’s newest gin, the new Sipsmith VJOP, and Warner Edwards’ lavender-scented gin (which against all the odds has become Victoria’s drink-at-home favourite).  There will also be a mystery gin test…

Victoria pouring cocktail.jpgYou will learn what gin really is, and what distinguishes London Dry Gin.  We’ll explore the importance of the coriander botanical and discuss choosing the perfect gin for different drinks.  You’ll compare a range of tonics and Victoria will show you how to make the perfect gin & tonic.

Gin is great in cocktails, including both Victoria and Anna’s favourite – the negroni – which we will make to finish off the night in style.  Now will be your chance to pick Victoria’s cocktail brain and plan your future gin-based experiments.

Of course we will keep you well fed with nibbles and snacks paired with the drinks.  You will leave with a new level of gin expertise and a bagful of tips and tricks for how best to drink gin.
